Description
Bridge No. 62 is an access bridge that crosses the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal at a slight angle. It features a semi-elliptical arch made of voussoirs, constructed from squared, faced, and coursed local sandstone. The bridge has a parapet with slab coping and curving abutments. The arch is higher than usual because the canal runs in a cutting at this location. The bridge number is displayed on the south face of the arch, and the towpath runs beneath the arch on the east side.
