Description
Brecon Rugby Club is a former public house with stone walls that are roughcast and feature a painted plinth. The building has a slate roof, with earlier rubble flanking stacks that have been partly raised in red brick. The front of the building faces The Watton and includes two windows with a central doorway, showcasing tripartite sash windows. The upper windows are hornless and lack horizontal glazing bars, while the lower windows are horned and consist of 12-pane sashes in the center. On the left side, there is a single square sash window on each floor. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that runs along Gasworks Lane.
Inside, the space has been converted into one large ground floor room. There is a large stone fireplace on the west side, and it is said that there is another fireplace on the east side, concealed behind modern panelling. The ceiling features exposed beams.
