Description

This former cottage, located next to the George Hotel, is a small house built with stone walls and brick dressings. It features a steep slate gabled roof with the gable end facing George Street. The building has one storey and an attic, and it is adorned with fancy bargeboards. There are sash windows without glazing bars, with one window above and two below, one on each side of a central blocked doorway. The roof slopes to both sides and includes a flat-roofed dormer, along with a tall brick chimney on the right side.

Inside, the cottage has been renovated, but it still retains stopped and chamfered ceiling beams as well as original roof trusses.
