Description

The churchyard cross located to the south of the Parish Church of St Peter is a medieval structure, likely dating from the 14th century. It resembles the design of the churchyard cross at the Parish Church of St Faith in Llanfoist and has been largely rebuilt to serve as a War Memorial.

The cross features a tall chamfered shaft topped with a Celtic cross. At its base, there are broach stops, and it stands on a square base adorned with cushioned labels. The entire structure is supported by a four-stepped base.

This cross is included for its group value with the Parish Church of St Peter.
