Description
Pont Llwyncyntefin is a large road bridge constructed from rubble stone. It features two prominent recessed arches that are separated by a substantial triangular cutwater, which has been chamfered back to create a rounded pedestrian refuge. The bridge has a thin stone coping. The upstream side remains original, showcasing stone voussoirs in the arch and outer arch. The eastern downstream side has been widened by about half of the original width, designed to match the existing style, with the original bridge line still visible in the arch soffit. On the western side of the refuge, there is a plaque that reads 'P/HE/1750/ EI TW Masons/ I. Gwyn fculptit', while the opposite side features a plaque commemorating the widening. The parapets of the bridge splay out at the ends, except on the northeast side.
