Description
Henllys Vale Colliery Chimney is a notable structure, standing over 30 meters high. It features a circular shaft set on an octagonal base. The chimney is constructed of red brick in various shades, with alternating courses of headers and stretchers creating a banded effect. The octagonal base rises to approximately 3 meters and includes an archway on the south side for a flue. The chimney shaft tapers gradually, culminating in a corbelled ring at the top.
