Description

The tomb of Daniel (Chandler?) is a limestone chest tomb located at the Church of St Martin. It is rectangular in shape and features framed panels on each side. The horizontal tooling indicates the presence of corner pilasters. At the top, there is roll moulding, and the tomb is capped with a flat slab that has a rolled edge. The oldest inscription on the tomb is damaged and refers to Daniel, who died in 1812. There is also a secondary inscription for Hannah Chandler, who also died in 1812.
