Description
Cantref House is a former vicarage built in the 19th century. The building is roughcast with slate roofs, featuring flat eaves and roughcast end stacks. It stands three storeys high and has a three-window range of small-paned sash windows with stone sills. The upper windows have nine panes, the first-floor windows have twelve panes, and the ground floor features tripartite windows with four panes on each side of a central twelve-pane window. There is an added enclosed porch with bargeboards and a half-glazed door on the left side. The left end wall has one window on each floor to the left. The rear southeast wing includes a large external roughcast chimney on the east side and an end gable with part slate-hanging, while the rear southwest wing has a roughcast external chimney. The interior is not available for inspection.
