Description
11 Camden Road is part of a terrace of 12 houses, originally marked as Bowen Terrace on older Ordnance Survey maps. These two-storey houses, with attics, are constructed of stucco and feature mainly slate roofs. They have moulded quoins and window surrounds. The end houses display gabled fronts with decorative bargeboards, a single camber-headed attic window, a pair of camber-headed first floor windows, and a splayed bay window, with entrances located in the three-window returns.
The other houses in the terrace consist of two bays and include small gabled dormers. Above the ground floor splayed bay window, there are paired camber-headed sash windows, while the bay features camber-headed sash windows and a cornice supported by scroll brackets. Another bay includes a single first floor window above a camber-headed doorway with an overlight.
The front garden wall of the terrace is made of stucco, with some rebuilding, and has rough stones on the coping, along with original iron gates. There are modern doors and glazing in the original openings.
