Description
Cadwgan Farmhouse is a building constructed from painted red sandstone rubble, featuring a stone tile roof on the main block and corrugated asbestos sheeting on the rear wing and lean-to extension. The main block is one and a half storeys tall, while the single-storey rear wing is attached. There is a gable entry through the addition to the main block. On the south elevation, there is a 3 over 4 pane sash window in the hall and a casement window in the original opening, which has a drip over the inner room. Above the hall window, there is a small gable with another casement window, which is likely a 19th-century alteration to the roof line. A massive gable stack is located to the left, which has weathered for thatch. The inner room appears to be unheated, as there is no other chimney present.
To the immediate west of the farmhouse, there is a spring enclosed by high stone walls, with benches facing a shallow pool.
The interior was not available for inspection at the time of resurvey in May 1997.
