Description
33 King Street is a two-storey house and shop with two bays, featuring an imitation slate close-eaved roof and a red brick chimney on the right side. The exterior is covered in painted 20th-century roughcast cladding. On the first floor, there are four-pane horned sash windows, while the ground floor likely has an early 20th-century shop front. This includes two two-pane windows and a central recessed half-glazed 20th-century door with an overlight, all framed by a plain 20th-century casing.
In the cellar, which is only accessible from No 34, there is a wall made of stone rubble that runs down the party wall and is approximately 2.8 meters thick. This wall likely forms part of the medieval town wall.
