Description
The former Kidwelly & Llanelly Canal aqueduct, also known as Glanstony Aqueduct, is a canal aqueduct built mainly of coursed freestone. It features six low segmental arches. On the eastern side, which is the upstream side, there are V-shaped cutwaters topped with pyramidal caps. The right-hand arch on the northern side has partly collapsed. The western side has overgrown cutwaters, which may be square, and the area above the arches has mostly been rebuilt in brick. The abutments are splayed on each bank.
