Description
105 Lammas Street is an end-terrace house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a slate close-eaved roof that is notably lower than that of the adjacent No. 104. The roof has renewed small modillion brackets supporting the eaves gutter, and there are brick end stacks, with the right stack being significantly taller. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range of renewed 12-pane sash windows, along with a central doorway. The doorway consists of a renewed five-panel door with an overlight that has marginal glazing bars, set within a plain raised doorcase topped with a thin cornice and mid-19th century enriched scroll consoles. Access is provided by two slate steps, with a raised plinth on each side. The east elevation facing the chapel forecourt was originally slate-hung but was stuccoed in 1981. The building is said to have undergone significant rebuilding.
