Description
8 Lammas Street is an end-terrace shop with living accommodation, featuring a whitewashed stucco facade and a slate gabled roof. It has a very small red brick chimney stack at the left end and ashlar gable coping on the right. The building is two storeys high with a single-window range. The upper floor has a large 16-pane sash window, while the ground floor boasts a 2-light plate glass shop front with a central half-glazed door. There are rusticated quoins on the right side. The side elevation is made of squared rubble stone with ashlar quoins, and there is a single 6-pane casement window with an ashlar surround and keystone on the first floor to the right. At the rear, there is a wing constructed of similar materials and dressings.
