Description

Cold Comfort is an early 19th century rectangular block of two cottages, standing two storeys tall with two windows each. The cottages are constructed of rubble masonry, with the front limewashed. The roof is covered with thin slates and features central and end chimneys, including a notably large projecting chimney with a square stack and capping. The northern cottage has sash windows with glazing bars, a small wing to the north, and an entrance that includes a small gabled porch. The southern cottage also has sash windows, but these feature central glazing bars only.
