Description
This Tudor House is a Grade II listed commercial building with living space above. It features unpainted lined stucco and a slate roof behind a parapet. The structure has a basement and three storeys, with two bays and a moulded cornice. The windows are plate glass sashes, with the top sash having a curved bottom rail, similar to those found on Athol House. To the right, there is a square bay window on the upper two floors, featuring paired sashes at the front and moulded cornices adorned with small modillions. The first-floor windows are longer and include leaded glazed top lights. Originally, the bay window extended over three storeys but now rests on a 20th-century projecting shop front. On the left side, there is a narrower sash window on both upper floors above an arched doorway with a moulded stucco head. The keystone of the doorway has a portcullis design, with square stops featuring rosettes. A 20th-century glazed door with a plain fanlight completes the entrance. The building has been altered for shop use, with stairs leading down to the basement.
