Description
This is an outbuilding located to the east of the main range at Court, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a single roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the slope, with the upper end lofted and covered by a grouted slate roof. The northern end has a loft entry at ground level.
The western front of the building has a small loft window on the left side, with a ground floor window and door to the left and another window to the right, all featuring brick heads. The longer southern section to the right has an asbestos sheet roof, a vent loop on the western front, and a tall cambered-arched entry at the southern end, also with a brick head.
At the southern end, there is a full-height cart-shed. The northern end of the ground floor contains an enclosed whitewashed drying kiln, with oak joists supporting a rough slate-slab floor that leads to the upper drying loft.
