Description

Pont y Gwrhyd is a later 19th-century road bridge constructed from square rubble stone. It features two low arches, one spanning a stream that is a tributary of the River Alun, and the other crossing a former mill leat from Gwrhyd Mill. The bridge has a flat roadway and is topped with rubble-coped parapets, with the parapet at the southeast angle curving out along the side of the former leat.
