Description

This is a circular fronted limekiln located at the southern end of Newgale Sands. It is constructed from rubble stone and built into a bank. The kiln features a broad, curved triangular opening on both the north and south sides, which is stone vaulted and narrows down to the furnace opening. These openings are approximately 2.5 meters high. The top of the kiln is flat and has an infilled crucible.
