Description
This is an outbuilding located to the north of Boulston Manor, constructed from rubble stone with an asbestos sheet roof that is hipped to the west. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays that are offset to the left. On the left side, there is a pointed window on each floor, although the upper window is blank. To the left of centre, there is a pointed door, and to the right on the ground floor, there is a former blank pointed opening that has been altered to include an inserted window. The structure includes cut stone voussoirs.
On the first floor, above the door and in the right bay, there are plain cross-windows located under the eaves. The right end wall has a pointed doorway situated to the left. The rear of the building features outside stone steps leading to a loft door, with one loft window to the left and two ground floor windows to the right. The stone stairs have stone voussoirs that form an asymmetrical arch beneath them. The west end wall is rendered. The building has not been inspected.
