Description

Manorbier Mill is a structure measuring approximately 10.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide internally, with external walls made of local limestone rubble that are about 1.1 meters thick. The building features gabled ends and has a later lean-to store room on the south side. At the west end, there is a wheel pit measuring 2.4 meters by 4.5 meters, which likely housed an overshot water wheel fed by a launder through the north wall. There is also a large opening for tail water on the opposite side below. The milling floor measures 7.5 meters by 4.5 meters and is believed to have contained two milling stones, although only fragments of one are reported. The building is preserved as a ruin.
