Description

Castle Green is a two-storey building constructed from brown rubble stone with grey limestone dressings, featuring an imitation slate roof and stone end stacks. The flat eaves are supported by paired brackets. The front facade has three windows, each fitted with hornless 12-pane sash windows that have slate sills. The central entrance consists of a two-panel door topped with a traceried overlight, and the door panels have shaped heads. All openings are framed with grey limestone surrounds that include voussoirs above the heads.

In front of the building, there are iron railings set on a low rubble wall, complemented by green stone gatepiers and a matching iron gate.
