Outbuilding to W of Butterhill

This building is a large lofted cartshed located to the west of Butterhill, constructed from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. The west end features a broad cart entry with a cambered head, supported by stone voussoirs, and above it is a cambered arched loft window. On the south side, there are two ground floor windows, also with stone voussoirs; the right window is longer than the left. Additionally, there are two small loft windows positioned in the centre and to the right. The north side has broad outside stone steps leading up to a central loft door, while the east end includes another cart entry. Adjacent to the stone steps is an added kiln, likely used for drying grain, which has a small barrel-vaulted brick chamber above it.

Inside the loft, there are six pegged collar trusses that are roughly chamfered, along with two rows of purlins.
