Description
35 Goat Street comprises two mid-19th century houses built of rubble stone. Each house is two storeys high and has three windows.
Number 33 has a slate roof and stone end stacks. It features three four-pane sash windows on the first floor, not centred above the ground floor. The ground floor has two canted bay windows with 2-4-2-pane sashes. A front door with a narrow overlight is set within a painted brick surround, and features a modern door with an overlight.
Number 35 has an imitation slate roof with a higher ridge and brick end stacks. Its front elevation is unusual and attractive, constructed of coursed grey-green sandstone with a purple Caerbwdy stone plinth, quoins, and rusticated window heads. It has four-pane sashes with slate sills and a centre door. The door is four-panelled with arched heads to the panels and a traceried overlight. The west end wall is of rubble stone and there is an outshut at the rear.
A rubble stone front garden wall with ridge coping and a central iron gate set between ashlar purple piers encloses the front garden.
