Description
33 Goat Street is a mid-19th century building comprising two houses constructed from rubble stone, each featuring two storeys and three windows.
No 33 has a slate roof and stone end stacks, with three 4-pane sash windows on the upper floor that are not aligned with the ground floor. The ground floor includes two canted bay windows with a configuration of 2-4-2 panes. The front door has a narrow overlight, a painted brick head, and a modern door with an overlight.
No 35 features an imitation slate roof with a higher ridge and brick end stacks. Its front elevation is distinctive, made of coursed grey-green sandstone with a purple Caerbwdy stone plinth, quoins, and rusticated window heads. It has four-pane sash windows with slate sills and a central door that has four panels with arched heads and a traceried overlight. The west end wall is made of rubble stone, and there is an outshut at the rear.
The front garden is enclosed by a rubble stone wall with ridged coping and a central iron gate set between purple ashlar stone piers.
