Description
Tregroes Church of St Ffraid is an Anglican church built from snecked rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. The ridge line is even, and the chancel features a slated bellcote. The church has long lancet windows with leaded lights and ashlar flush surrounds, with three on each side of the nave and one on the north side of the chancel. The south side of the chancel includes a lean-to vestry with a catslide roof and a smaller lean-to on the left. The east end showcases a triplet of similar lancets with stepped heads. The west end has a rough stone segmental pointed doorway with a single lancet window above it.
The bellcote has a battered slated base and a squat timber open stage that features three-arch Gothic arcading, topped with an overhanging slated spirelet that transitions from square to octagonal. Inside, the church has a plain plastered interior that includes a small medieval font, which is square from an octagonal base.
