Description
The outbuildings south of Rosehill are early 19th-century structures built from coursed Cilgerran stone, which were once colourwashed, and feature a graded slate roof. The building is arranged in an L-shape, with a tall gabled wing extending forward at the northeast. This wing has a high round-arched entry adorned with cut-stone voussoirs. It is likely an addition to the rear range, which has a loft.
On the front side, to the right of the projection, there is a blocked window at the angle, also featuring cut-stone voussoirs, and a door to the right that has been widened with a timber lintel to create a cart entry. There is one loft window to the left of the centre, which has a timber lintel, and a loft entry at the eastern end with stone voussoirs. At the western end, there is a window that was formerly a door. The gabled projection has a two-bay pegged collar-truss roof, while the main range contains four collar trusses.
At the time of inspection in Spring 1994, the roof was noted to be in poor condition.
