Description
No. 4 Glyndu in Llanwddyn is part of a group of four similar but not identical cottages arranged in a terrace. These cottages are built with irregularly coursed slate masonry and feature slate roofs. The designs alternate in orientation, with the left pair being slightly larger than the right. Each pair has doors positioned in the center and chimneys located on the outside. The doors are four-panel types with rectangular overlights and gabled canopies supported by timber brackets.
In the left pair of cottages, there are mullion and transom windows, with the left cottage retaining these features. The windows below are tripartite, set on stone sills with plain stone lintels, while above are approximately square oriel windows supported by brackets, topped with metal roofs.
The right pair of cottages has tripartite sash windows below, also with stone sills and plain lintels, and approximately square four-pane sash windows above, again with stone sills and plain lintels.
No. 4 is the outer cottage of the larger left pair in the terrace.
