Description
No. 5 Glyndu in Llanwddyn is part of a pair of symmetrically planned cottages, constructed from irregularly coursed slate and topped with a slate roof. The cottages share a central rendered chimney stack and have doors located on the gable ends, reflecting the inter-war universal plan type.
Each cottage features a pair of small-pane casement windows in a through-eaves dormer above, and a triplet of similar casements below. There is a side door with a lean-to canopy supported by brackets, while the door on the right is enclosed. The right-hand cottage also has a porch with closed sides.
