Description
14 Foundry Terrace comprises a pair of two-storey, one-window cottages. The cottages date to the 18th century and are constructed with blue and dark brick facades, topped with a slate roof, boarded eaves, and blue brick stacks serving each pair of cottages. They feature camber-headed openings containing six and twelve-pane sash windows and four-panel doors with plain overlights. The ground floor openings for numbers 15 and 16 are slightly stepped up. Modern windows are present at the rear, overlooking a high revetment wall associated with a former foundry complex. Each cottage has a front garden enclosed by contemporary iron railings with an arched top.
