Description

The Iscoyd Park war memorial is a Celtic cross style monument dedicated to those who served in the 1914-18 war. Made of reconstituted stone, it stands on a stepped plinth with a square base. The base features an inscription that includes the lines "Live thou for England/ We for England died." The tall Celtic cross has a tapering shaft and includes interlace designs in relief at the cross head.
