Description

Halghton Lodge Farmhouse is a 2½-storey brick house, likely dating to the 18th century. It has a slate roof with decorative dentil eaves and brick stacks at each end. The front facade, originally two windows wide, now has a modern wooden porch centered on the entrance. The windows are small-pane casements with painted segmental heads. The left-hand gable end has similar windows, while the right-hand gable end features a small attic window above an integrated single-storey range that faces the yard behind the house. This range has two open bays in the middle, with double-boarded doors to the right and a single-boarded door to the left.

At the rear, a single small-pane window is visible in the upper storey on the left-hand side. To its right is a lower two-storey wing with three windows. This wing has a continuous lean-to extension facing the yard, which also runs along the south gable end. The wing and lean-to largely have replacement windows.
