Description

Llangollen Bridge is a historic structure that spans the river with four arches, which are unequally pointed and feature voussoirs. The older part of the bridge is made of coursed rubble, while the upstream side is constructed from precast concrete. The bridge has deep pointed cutwaters on both sides, with the cutwaters on the downstream side being taller. Additionally, there is a square-headed opening for a railway.
