Description
Tyn-y-Ffynwent is a two-storey house with three windows, built from local rubble and featuring a rendered and colour-washed front, topped with a slate roof. It has central and end rectangular stone chimneys. On the first floor, three windows are set at the eaves; the central window is blocked, while the outer windows are small pane horned sashes. The ground floor has a central entrance doorway flanked by small pane windows and a late 19th-century verandah supported by cast iron columns. The elevation facing the churchyard includes a small attic window on the first floor, a horned sash window, and to the right, a larger fixed pane window. On the ground floor, there are three camber-headed windows of varying sizes with small pane sash glazing, with the left two being hornless and the right window being a modern horned insertion. At the rear, there is a rectangular stone chimney at the gable end to the west.
