Description
The building, located to the east of Llwyn, is a ruined structure that may have originally served as stables for the main house. It is one and a half storeys tall and has three bays, constructed from rubble masonry. The roof is steeply pitched, but the slates have been removed. There are tall square chimney stacks with water tabling.
On the first floor, there are four windows that resemble those on the ground floor, and a doorway is positioned to the left of the center. The windows were formerly 12-pane sashes but have been narrowed from their earlier dimensions, possibly indicating former doorways. There is a blocked doorway at the loft level on the right gable end. The rear features three gabled stone dormers with casement windows that were once fitted with lead cames, along with a central doorway.
Inside, there are chamfered transverse ceiling beams, and some plank and muntin partitions on the first floor, which are collared through purlin trusses. Fragments of dressed stone can be seen on the front elevation, including one inscribed with "A 1582".
At the time of inspection, the building was in a ruinous and overgrown condition, lacking slates and with collapsing floors.
