Description
Gwynfryn House is a substantial mid-19th century end of terrace house constructed from rubble masonry. The main elevations facing the street feature roughly dressed snecked stonework, with large stones used as quoins and lintels, while the rear is finished in mortared rubble. The house has a slate roof with broad rectangular stacks that have capping. The windows are 4-pane horned sashes with slate sills.
The house appears to consist of three units, with the central unit located at the angle of the range. The southeast elevation has a three-window arrangement, including a two-window section on the right with a panelled door to the left. The single window section on the left is mirrored on the southwest wall and belongs to the end unit, which has access through a doorway in the angle elevation. At the left end of the southwest wall is another two-window range, with the left part set back from the main elevation and featuring a boarded doorway beneath a shallow overlight.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
