Description

9 Sygyn Terrace is part of a long terrace of 10 cottages, each with its own low rubble-walled and railed forecourt garden. The cottages are constructed of rubble with modern slate roofs and simple end chimneys featuring cornice bands. Nos 1 and 2 are slightly elevated compared to the others and have a continuous roof, while nos 3 to 10 share a roof. Among these, nos 3, 4, and 5 are rendered and whitened, and nos 6, 8, 9, and 10 have single-storey modern gabled porches. All doors are modern, mostly part-glazed. The windows are also modern; nos 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 10 have replicas of the original 16-pane unhorned sashes, while nos 4, 5, 6, and 8 feature plain sash approximations. Additionally, there are modern extensions at the rear of all the cottages.
