Description
This is a long terrace of 10 cottages, each set back behind a low rubble-walled and railed forecourt garden. The cottages are built of rubble and have modern slate roofs, with simple end chimneys that have cornice bands. Numbers 1 and 2 are raised above the level of the others and have a continuous roofline; numbers 3 to 10 are also covered by a shared roof. Numbers 3, 4, and 5 have been rendered and whitewashed, and numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 have single-storey, modern gabled porches. All the doors are modern, mostly with glazed panels. The windows are modern replacements, with copies of original 16-pane unhorned sashes at numbers 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 10, and simpler sash windows at numbers 4, 5, 6, and 8. Modern extensions have been added to the rear of all the cottages. The terrace forms a group of 10.
