Description
4 Mountain View is part of a long terrace of six cottages built in the third quarter of the 19th century. These two-storey cottages have a rubble construction and feature a continuously-roofed design with end chimneys for each unit. The cottages have simple cornices and weathercoursing. Each unit has a symmetrical front, with a central boarded door and a rectangular overlight. The ground floor has flanking recessed 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor features 9-pane sash windows, some of which have been replaced with modern versions. Each unit has projecting slate cills. There are modern extensions at the rear of each cottage.
