Description
The water wheel at Dyffrydan is a 19th-century structure featuring associated machinery. A dug water course, which is now dry, leads from the hill behind to a short rubble aqueduct. In front of this aqueduct, a large iron wheel with timber spokes is set in a rubble-walled pit, supported by timber joists. To the left of the main wheel, there are two smaller wheels connected to it, complete with cogs and teeth, which are also bolted onto a timber frame.
