Description
16 Kings Head Street is a group of single-storey and attic houses, primarily featuring two-window fronts. Most of the houses are finished in pebbledash, except for No 14, which is constructed of rubble. Nos 20 and 22 have been combined to form a single dwelling. The houses have steep slate roofs, with No 14 having a heavily grouted roof and swept roof dormers. Most of the houses are topped with tall rubble chimney stacks that include weathercoursing, while No 14 has a brick chimney where the dormers are boarded up and the plinth has been removed, featuring large boarded double doors. Nos 16 and 18 have small pane metal frame windows with lugged architraves on the ground floor, as does No 22, which also has small pane sash windows and decorative framing in the upper part. The houses have half-glazed doors.
