Description
14 Kings Head Street is part of a group of single-storey and attic houses, primarily featuring two-window fronts. The houses are mostly finished in pebbledash, except for No 14, which is constructed from rubble. Nos 20 and 22 have been combined to form a single residence. The buildings have steep slate roofs, heavily grouted on No 14, and include swept roof dormers. Most houses have tall rubble chimney stacks with weathercoursing, while No 14 has a brick chimney where the dormers are boarded up and the plinth has been removed, featuring large boarded double doors. Nos 16 and 18 are fitted with small pane metal frame windows with lugged architraves on the ground floor, similar to No 22, which has small pane sash windows and decorative framing in the upper part. Half-glazed doors are also present.
