Description

20 Kings Head Street is a group of single-storey and attic houses, primarily featuring two-window fronts. The buildings are mostly finished in pebbledash, except for No 14, which is constructed from rubble. Nos 20 and 22 have been combined to form one house. They have steep slate roofs, which are heavily grouted on No 14, and include swept roof dormers. The group mostly has tall rubble chimney stacks with weathercoursing, while No 14 has a brick chimney where the dormers are boarded up and the plinth has been removed, featuring large boarded double doors. Nos 16 and 18 are fitted with small pane metal frame windows with lugged architraves on the ground floor, as well as No 22, which has small pane sash windows and decorative framing in the upper part. The doors are half glazed.
