Description

No. 3 is part of a terrace of three two-storey houses built in the simple Gothic style, which was popular with the Glynllifon Estate during this period. The houses are constructed from rubblestone with brick dressings, now covered in cement render, and feature slate roofs with coped verges. The street front of the main building has a balanced composition of five bays, with the center and outer bays designed as projecting gables that rise higher than the ridges of the inner bays.

The original pattern of windows and openings is mostly intact, with hoodmoulds present throughout, except for the first-floor windows of the inner bays, which are positioned directly below the eaves. The original windows remain on the right gable of No. 3, while the others were replaced in the late 20th century. The entrance to No. 2 is through a gabled porch located on the center gable, flanked by narrow windows. The entrances to Nos. 1 and 3 are accessed through set-back single-storey gable-ended sections at each end; No. 1 features a late 20th-century flat-roofed porch, while No. 3 has a late 20th-century lean-to porch in a similar position. The main building has three (formerly four) prominent reddish-brown brick ridge stacks with toothed paired and rebated shafts, moulded capping, and a collection of chimney pots, with two stacks to the right and one to the left of the center gable.

The interior was not inspected during the survey.
