Description
The Observatory Tower is a rectangular structure made of whitewashed stone, built in four stages. The lower three-storey section features a small balcony at the top level facing north towards the village. The fourth storey, which is rendered and slightly inset, has window openings on each side with tiny external slatted wooden shutters and plain glazing. The tower is topped with a shaped shingle roof that includes a box-like structure with a star finial above and wide eaves.
On the ground floor, there is an arched entrance on the north face and a double-arched, balustraded opening on the east side. The second storey has an arched entrance on the west face, which is accessed by a straight flight of external stone steps. Additionally, small slit-like windows are asymmetrically placed on all sides of the tower.
