Description

The Drystone-walled Field System at Tan-y-braich consists of stone walls that enclose a small field system. The dry-stone rubble walls range in height from approximately 1.2 meters to 2 meters. This field system includes three small rectangular fields to the north-west and three to the south-east, separated by a straight wall-lined track that leads north-eastwards from the smallholder's cottage to the open moorland. Additionally, to the south-west of the cottage, there is a single larger and more irregularly shaped field that is also part of the holding.
