Description
White Hall is a two-storey U-plan complex primarily constructed of rubble stone, featuring slate close-eaved roofs and stone or rendered stacks. The main facade faces the beach and includes stone end stacks along with two stone ridge stacks. The front has six windows, with the right two-window section appearing to be an addition. The left part features four horned 12-pane sash windows on the upper floor, and full-length 18-pane sashes on the ground floor, arranged as two pairs on the left and two singles on the right. The added section mirrors this style but has 16-pane upper windows and paired lower windows. The right end wall displays two 18-pane sashes on the ground floor, while the left end wall has a sloping buttress followed by an added rear range that includes three windows above a broad segmental-arched carriage entry. The roof has a ridge stack and is clad in asbestos sheets on the left side with a hipped angle. A throughway leads to a rear courtyard, which features a range parallel to the front. This rear range is also built of rubble stone and has three 12-pane sashes above one 12-pane sash, one 16-pane sash, and a door, all topped with stone slab lintels and a brick ridge stack. The back of the front range is similarly constructed of rubble stone, with several large sashes and a door set in a concrete porch.
