Description
The mill house at Felin Gafnan is a 2-storey building featuring a 2-window range, with a lofted kitchen attached to the left side. The exterior has rough rendered walls and modern slate roofs, complemented by rendered gable end stacks. The main entrance consists of a central boarded door, flanked by 12-pane hornless sash windows, with the first-floor windows positioned under the eaves. The right gable includes windows on both the ground and first floors. At the rear, there is a central 12-pane sash stair window, along with a similar window on the ground floor to the left, and a smaller 4-pane sash window also to the left on the ground floor. To the right of the stair window on the first floor, there is a shorter 9-pane sash window that has a 3-pane sliding upper light.
Attached to the left of the house is a kitchen range with a single window and a squat gable end chimney, featuring a small 4-pane sash window at the front. The rear pitch has a modern rooflight, and there is a catslide roof over a lean-to porch, which has a boarded door and a 4-pane sash window to the right. In front of the house, there is a low stone-walled garden. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
