Description

Plas Llanfigael is a two-storey former rectory, dating from the 18th century. The building has five windows, including a three-window central projection with a pyramidal roof and a two-window return. A wing extends from the rear. It is constructed of rubble masonry with red brick window heads that are slightly cambered. The roof is hipped and covered with slates, and there is a first-floor sill band. Large, twin red brick chimney stacks are prominent. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Sunk panels are located above the central three windows at ground floor level, flanked by wider windows with arched tympanums. The property is set within a lawned garden.

Inside, delicate enriched cornices are a feature. The oak staircase has a cut string and gentle going, and the doors have six sunk panels. First-floor fireplaces incorporate hobgrates, marble linings, and wooden mantels.
