Description
Dated 1774, the bridge spans the River Almond and comprises two segmental arches constructed from stugged ashlar stone. Angle buttresses are present on each end of the central pier. A datestone is inset and incised on the west side of the pier. The bridge features parapets made of rock-faced stonework. The structure is partly situated within the parish of Whitburn. The statutory address is Blackburn Village Bridge, River Almond.
